The OBSIDIAN is built for barbers who want a true “all-black station” - not a chair that’s black in the photos but mixed hardware in real life. The diamond-stitched upholstery, deep black finish, and bold, squared profile give your shop that modern, serious look the second it hits the floor. It photographs clean, looks expensive in person, and fits the style of shops that want the station to feel intentional, not improvised.

Where most “statement chairs” lose the plot is the part that matters: stability, lift control, and day-to-day usability. OBSIDIAN is built around AGS Beauty’s heavy-duty hydraulic system and an oversized round base for a grounded feel during reclines, shaves, and constant swivel work. Instead of our stainless panel AGS pedal, this model uses a black oversized U-shaped pump pedal - a wide, easy-to-find foot control that stays natural under the station, especially when you’re moving fast between clients and don’t want to hunt for the pedal.

Delivery & Setup (Plain English):

This is a very heavy item and will ship via freight on a pallet, so delivery works a little differently than standard UPS packages.

- What you get: CURBSIDE DELIVERY with a liftgate - the driver will lower the pallet to the ground at the curb/driveway
- What the driver will NOT do: move the pallet inside, unbox, or assemble (this is standard for freight curbside delivery)
- What you should plan for: break down the pallet and carry the boxes inside yourself; please prepare 2 or more people to help with unloading due to the size and weight
- Best practice: choose a clear, flat drop-off spot and have a box cutter / basic tools ready so you can move everything inside quickly after delivery

To Start a Claim: Please email clear photos and videos documenting the issue to [email protected]. The more details you can provide (order number, a short description, and close-up photos/videos), the faster we can identify the correct replacement part and help you get back in service. Approved warranty parts are typically shipped via FedEx/USPS standard service.

Warranty Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Cosmetic or aesthetic changes such as chipping, fading, scratches, or staining are not covered.

30-Day Return Policy: If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of the ship date.

The AGS Advantage: NO Restocking Fees

We do not charge restocking fees on the vast majority of our products.

Return Requirements:

- Items must be in like-new condition and include all original parts, accessories, manuals, and packaging.
- Returns must be approved in advance by calling 1-503-828-1782 or emailing [email protected] (please do not ship returns without approval).
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges and any damage that occurs during return shipping. We strongly recommend professional packing and adequate insurance for large or fragile items.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will not be included in your refund.
